As a perinatal nurse clinician I applaud this fic. It was factual, clever and so close to the truth that I even had flashbacks of my tour on Labor and Delivery. Tim's dueling thoughts as he struggled to assist Melissa deliver her daughter was wonderful but what really got me was the robber's, the hyper prepared robbers, floored by the fact that they have a laboring woman in their midst.
