Summary: So I've been participating in this mildly shitty Tumblr roleplay as Tim. And it's been lots of fun despite the fact that I don't fit in all that well in this fandom (so many canonships, not enough batcest). Anyway, someone on the RP request a time in which Tim had to deliver a baby. And I'd been meaning to write that fic *forever*. Because if there's anything I'm enthusiastic about it's Childbirth and Robin (not at once, usually). Anyway, be warned that this fic came out a little bit... technical. I use the word "endometrium" at least once. I may had said "placenta" as well.

Hello the world, it's been a while

So I really didn't mean to drop off the face of the internet. A lot has happened in my life since last I posted. I graduated (yes, you knew that) which resulted in wide-spread malignant writer's block. I got a job which isn't great and leaves me exhausted. My relationship of three years ended.

So, yeah, things happened and I sort of dissappeard. But that doesn't mean that I don't still love you, internet, and I'm still going to be here. I'm hoping to catch up on the YJ kink meme, although the very thought of it leaves me feeling a little overwhelmed. I'm also working on catching up on all my fics. Which will take a while.

If you're interested in the fate of Duplicity, I've started rewriting it in it's entirety and I'm just about to post the first part. Please let me know what you think. And if you're up for beta-ing I sure could use a fucking beta.

X-Men First Class

So I just got back from Cinnebar in South Carolina (where you get to eat dinner and watch a movie at the same time! Woo!) and before I get started on an epic Xavier/Magneto fic to celebrate I decided I should give a break down of my thoughts on the film.

TL;DR:

So basically I think the film is a good watch, especially for X-Men fans. I have a sneaking suspicion that all the scenes I would have really liked to see were cut out in editing, so I'm looking forward to the DVD extras. All in all, X-Men First class is better than Last Stand (thank the comic-gods) but nowhere near as complex or entertaining as those first two films.

I miss Bryan Singer.

Not only did I spend an inordinate amount of time reading through the old ones, but I decided to make some of my own. Which I then posted to my brand new tumblr.
